CASUALTIES.
(raSSS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAMS.) WELLINGTON. September 28. A Maori named Kira Punuha has been found dead in his hut" at Waikawa, near Alanukau. A gun was found alongside tho body, and an examination showed that deceased had been shot through tho heart, INVEECAIIGILL, September 28. Joseph Armstrong, a married man, •was struck by a falling limb of a tree while "vrorking in the bush at OrepuM this morning. Death vras almost instantaneous. Ho leaves a widow and two children.
