IMPROVEMENT ON THE STOCK EXCHANGE.
LONDON, September 27. All departments of the Stock Exchange recovered on the report that Turkey would ultimately lease Tripoli to Italy. The report is unconfirmed, but hopeful views that some amicable settlement may be come to are expressed in Berlin and in some of the ether capitals.
Holders of Turkish bonds paid 45 guineas in London as insurance against an Italo-Turkish war eventuating in 1911. The rates have now improved.
