The annual meetis? of the Tai Tapu Tennis Cleb na held in the Library last Friday. There was a good attendance of membere, tli* oharr being token by the captain, Mr Q. Ward. Ibnteen < matches h«d been played during the season, c€ which ten were won, two lb*a« and one drawn.

Penlingion; eecrefcary and treasurer, Mrs Suckli-ng; gen«r»J coirntittee, officers of the Chib, Mice Leathern. Mr J. McKensie and Ifr I. Champion. It wee decided to open the seaeon on TlrarrAtf, ■ October Sib, and to issue invitations to neighbouring chibe.
