There is a good demand for - tho tickets, and numbers of seats bava - already been reserved at the Dresden, > The theatre during the day present! •', quite an animated appearance, caused by the hundreds of school children who k are busily engaged in rehearsing their various parts, and the dosporate keen- « ness shown by them to keep up the r*> putation of the various schools is * treat to witness. As was to be expected with such a number of items on i the programmes, three or four have,\, through various causes, had to drop r out, but the committee have had no difficulty in getting good ones in their ' places, and are indebted to Miss Bessie Macdonald, whose clever pupils are giving some national Scottish danoea.
