The twenty-first annual meeting of tho Club was hctl on Saturday, Air A. vV. Owiea preIho report and bauuice-sheet, wiuch were adoptsd, showed the Club to be in a very pibsperous stale. Vine report congratulated members on tho past satiaiactory season, duxing which six motor boat races bad ; been ns.d, tlie number of starters in eacn | race being not leas than six and the celesta providing some very close limshc*. The general result of the racing had been a marked improvement both in* speed and in tho reliability ol the boats taking part. At the last Lyttelton regatta membars' boats eecurcd the second, tnird, and fcrurth placea in the motor boat race. Tbe loliowing officers wero elected .—President, Mr A. W. Owiea; vioo-prcsidenta, Messrs C. H. Winny, Geo. Slater, A. G. Munns, A. Rides, E. "Willsteed, and A. A. Bickerton; commodore, Mr H. G. Moore; captain, Mr L. A. Curtis; handicappir, Mr H. G. Moore; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr T. H. Ridee; committee, Messrs H. Hawker, It Clark, L. Montgomery, S. Harrington, and L. Hammings; auditors, Messrs F. Paul and A- E. Butcher. It was decided to erect a mooring stage 30Oft k>ng at an estimated oost of £25. It was decided to obtain a champion flag to be presented each rear to the winner securing most points during the season. Captain Owlea'a offer of a prize for the best kept boat and engine was accepted -with thanka.
