The Homo Secretary, Mr Winston Churchill, after full enquiry and taking the best advice, has decided that the Johnson-Wells contest is illegal, and unless voluntarily abandoned, steps will be taken to prevent it. He implies that, if necessary, a summons will be obtained with a view to getting the promoter bound over not to cause a breach of the peace. The promoter will endeavour to prove that the contest is legal.
