United Prt?.«a Association—By Electric TelegTaph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, September 26Tho Federal Cabinet, at a lengthy sitting, discussed tho censure motion. It is understood that tho Labour members will declare straight out for preference to unionists, without limitation. A meeting of the Employers' Federation discussed tho situation. The president declared that proof positive could be given that the country was now for all practical purposes governed by tho Trades' Hall and Political Labour Councils, and rot by Parliamentary representatives. The climax had been reached by the proclamation of absolute preference to unionists. A resolution was adopted that the Federation viewed the action of the Government with tho gravest concern. (Received September 17th, 12.50 a.m.) MELBOURNE, September 26. In the Federal House of Representatives. Mr Deakin moved a vote of censure regarding tho Government's preference to unionists' policy. He said that the transformation was violent and unprecedented. Preference applied by a political body as part of its political action would be absolutely indefensible.
