TRAM SHELTER FOOTPATH.

TO TUB EDITOR Of "TUB PRESS." Sir,—Re tho now by-law declaring th© roadway in front of the tram shelter a footpath, I think a notice should be put up or some indicator placed there to show that tho space between tho tram shelter and the tram-rails is reserved for a footpath. Yesterday I was riding quietly along, there wore no trams about nor any people, when I was stopped by a constable, who took my name and informed mo that that part of tho roadway was now a footpath. I have no desire to break any of the bv-iaws, and think that this looks something in the nature of a trap. I certainly think somo sign or signal should be placed there as a warning of the reservation of that part of th© road.—Yours, etc., ROBT. W. DAVIES. Hereford street, September 26.!.
