HOCKEY GIRLS' CONCERT.
The Hockey Girls' Concert to be given in tho Theatre Royal on Thursday night has been promoted by the Canterbury Ladies Hockey Association with the object of raising funds to enable a Canterbury representative team to bo sent to Wellington to compete at the forthcoming tournament. The tournament is held annually in different centres, but so far Canterbury has not been represented and a determined effort is being made this year to get th© team away. The programmo which is largely contributed to by hockey girls themselves, contains a wide variety of interesting and entertaining items and the concert should be most ©njovable. The box plan is now open at the Dresden.
