NOTES.
A meeting of the Akaroa County Racing Club will be held on the 25th inst.,. at 1 p.m., in the Hall, Little River, to consider the report of the Racing Commission relativo to future permits.
Whito Cockade; who met. with a slight injury somo time ago, has resumed work at Riccarton.
Prospector has gone amiss, and it is doubtful if he will be able to fulfil his engagements at the Grand National Meeting. BobrikofF is to be sent to Sydney early next month, and will probably be seen out in some of the events at tho Australian Jockey Club's Spring Meeting. Sea Dog met with a slight mishap while galloping at Riccarton last week, and has been eased in his work.
Rose Noble and Crosbio havo been put into work again after several weeks' spell. Both are looking in excellent health.
Two Grand National candidates in True Blue and The Gunner have arrived at Riccarton from tho south. As the result of his two successes on the opening day of tho Wellington Racing Club's Meeting, H. Gray is now level with A. Whittaker in the matter of winning rides for the season.
