United Press Association—By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright (Received July 12th, 1.5 p.m.) MELBOURNE, July 11. The Minister of Customs has received the report of the committee appointed to investigate the cause of "bitter pit" in apples. The report etatee that the disease has been found in apple trees which have never been sprayed, and considers thai the theory that spraying is the cause has been disproved. Further investigations are pending.
