Sir Joseph and Lady Ward and Mrs a:ad Miss Seddon visited Cadbury"e factory at Bournville, and inspected the works and model village. Sir Joseph expressed himself as being highly gratified with the conditions of the workmen and the educational facilities provided. air Joseph and Lady Ward also visited Stratford-on-Avon and Warwick. Sir Joseph and Lady Ward entertained 600 guests at an At Home at the Hotel Cecil. The guests included Lord Alverston, Lord Knutsford, Lord Kinnaird, Lord Macnaghten, and Lord Bathurst, the Lord Mayor of London, Mr Lewis Harcourt, the AgentsGeneral, and many New Zealanders.
