PRESIDENT'S CUP.
After a hard and fast game, Linwood A defeated Merivale Aon the latter's ground by 6 points to 3. G. Dixon and W. Jack kicked penalty goals for tho winners. Merivale scored a try. Mr Hardy was referee.
Albion A defeated Canterbury College on their own ground by 41 points to nil. Mr C. Hasell refereed.
Richmond nj-et and defeated Marif-t Brothers by 11 points to nil. The game did not present many interesting features, 'the scorers for Richmond were Walker (2) and Delemain. Hocper converted one of the tries. Mr Garrard was referee.
Sydenham defeated Linwood C at Sydenham Park by 11 points to nil. Elwood, Hill and Harding scored tries, Burgess converted one try. Mr R. W. Britton refereed. . Christchurch A, playing on their own ground, defeated Merivale B (who played four men short) by 45 points to nil. For the winners, Johnston (4), Wickem (3), Thompson (3), and Livingstone,' Morgan, and Westenra scored tries. Keetley, R. Wreaks, and O'Brien converted ono try each. Mr W. Stevenson refereed. " Playing on the . Albion ground, Christchurch B defeated Albion B hy Id points to nil. Russell, Fryer, and Boon scored tries. Hill converted one and kicked n penalty goal. Mr G. Thomas refereed.
: Playing at Richmond, Marists Bros. defeated Richmond hy 3 points to nil. R. Lafferty scored the winning try. Mr G. S. Matthews refereed.
Lyttelton defeated Old Boys at Lyttelton, after ft very fast game, hy 10 points to nil. C. Boyd and E. Fenton scored tries, and J. Young potted a goal. Mr W. Woods was referee.
