OTHER MATCHES.
A football match between the boya attending the Lincoln and Tai Tapu Primary Schools was played at Tai Tapu on Saturday afternoon. A paddock had kindly been lent by R. H. Rhodes, M.P., and a keenly-eoptested •mine resulted in favour of Lincoln by §1 points to 8. For Lincoln, J. Gray and M. Pearson wero conspicuous for their play, and H. Cossar and S. Anderson for Tai Tapu. Tea was provided after tho match in tho schoolroom.
