OBITUARY.
MR WILLIAM B. PARKER,
1 (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGI-AM.') BLENHEIM, May 26. Tho death occurred suddenly last evening cf Sir William Benoni Parker, J.P. Deceased, who was born in London in 1837, came to New Zealand in 1861. After spending throe years on the Otago goldfields, ho camo to Marlborough, where ho had since resided. Ho was chairman of tho Wairau Hospital Board and the Omaka Cemetery Board, and had been a member of the Omaka Road Board for twenty-six years. Ho was a member of tho Marlborough Education' Board, and was an ex-councillor. He leaves a widotf and five sons.
