Italian engineers and Italian mechanics have gained an European reputation for cleverness of design and honesty of execution. In the motor industry they aro to-day rivalling tho mechanical leaders of England and France. The premier car of Italy just now is the internationally famous "It-la" car, and a touring chassis of ■this mako has just been landed in Cliristchurch, and is now on view at Messrs Adams Ltd.'s garage. The chassis car sells in Europe for £320, and tho same price, plus cost of importation, will bo charged here.
