A few parcels of Tuscan and Hunter's wheat changed hands during tho week at 3s and 3s OJd according to quality, and distance rroin port. The Home market continuing weak does not oncourago buyers to advance their price, and millers, being for tho most part well-supplied, there is very little coniprtitiou in the market. Oats remain firm. Carton's at 2s 4d to 2s Sd; but good, clean, bright heavy lines, would perhaps command a penny more. Dun oats are very scarce; a good type in body and colour would sell easily at 2s 6d. Algerians, clean, fit for sal« arc also worth 2s 6d; but dirty samples are hard to quit. Ryegrass seed; Perennial, is quoted at 3s to 3s 3d; Italian, 3s 3d to 3s 5d ; Partridge peas, 3s 6d to 3s 7d; blue Prussians 6s; aud blue Imperial. 6s 6d; horso beans, 3s 3d to Ss od. Tho potato market is somewhat active. Quotations during the week were £3 10s to £3 15s. There is a fair demand for oatsheaf chaff of clean, bright, heavy quality—up to £4 ;">s, but lessor quality is not. so rondilv dieposed of. Oatstraw chaff is quotod at 3as. and wheatstraw chaff at*3 Us.
