On the recommendation of the Officer Commanding the District, the following officers and mon have been selected from the Canterbury District to form a Doftion of the Coronation Contingent from New Zealand: — Captain Johnson, C Squadron, Ist Regiment; Captain G. E. Rhodes, A Squadron, Ist Regiment; SergeantMa jor McMahon (Wakatu Mounted Rifles). B Squadron, 10th Regiment; Sergt. L. Parkinson, Sergt. L. Hlunden, Corpl. McFarlane, Troopers Bassett, D. Chapman, J. Chapman, Olney, Allen, all of A Squadron, "Ist Regiment; Sergt. T. S. J. Doherty, and Trooper W. Eustace, B Squadron; Lance-Corpl H. M. Foster (Highland .Rifles), H. Company, Ist Regiment (infantry); Private G. C. O'Callaghan (City Rifles), C Company, Ist Regiment.
