Tbe New Zealand Shipping Co.'s steamer Ruahine, from London and Plymouth, via Las Palmas, Capetown, aiid Hobart,* is due at "Wellington on Friday evening or Saturday morning. Tha vessel is behind time this voyage, owing to the delay caused at Laa Patnae. where she was damaged by another steamer colliding with her. The. New Zealand Shipping Oo.'s chartered steamer Ihirham is due here this morning from Timaru to load froaen. meat, etc, fcr London. After calling at other ports, tho Durham is to sail finally from the Bhifi for London about tbe 29th inst. The New Zealand Shipping Co.'s steamer Kaipara left Wellington yesterday for Lender., via Monte Video, Teneriffe, and-Ply-mouth, with a full complement of passengers and a iull cargo of frosen meat, wool, and general produce. The Kaipara, whilo at Lyttelton, loaded tho following cargo:—For London, 1108 bales wool, 41 balm ekins, 43,0-19 carcases mutton and lamb, 4643 cases cheese, 192 crates kidneys, 33 crates sweetbreads, 6 cases liver, 76 casks tallorw, 1 truss and 3 canes sundries; for Monte Video, 15 sacks oats, 90 sacks 260 cases fruit and C 65 packages agricultural machinery (transhioped from Melbourne). "the Federal-Ho'ilder-Shire line eteamer Sussex, which left Lyttelton on Tuesday, February 38lh, for Avoninoutb, via Monte Video and Las Palmas, loaded tbe following cargo at New Zealand porta for the 'West of F.ngland ports:—37o2 quarters beef, 95715 carcases mutton, 85,399 carcases lamb. 260 cases runners, 79 boxes butter, 6500 crates cheese, 521 carcases pork, 27 cancaaea veal, 100 bags tripe, 100 cases and quantity frozen sundries, 34 casks casings, 65 bales rags, 449 casks tallow, 109 bales wool, 6 bales rubber, 300 dumps tow, 3411 cases meats, 62,000 super, feet timber, 10 bags grass, 501 bags sand, 234 bales hemp, 3672 bags peas, 6050 bagi \vheat, 10 cases/ honey, 21 packages sundries.

The Shaw, Saviil* and Albion Co.'s steamer Waiwera loaded the following cargo at Lyttelton for London:—2o,lßl carcases mutton and lamb. 548 bales wool, 73 casks pelts, 157 ca*ks tallow, 30 casks casings. 180 crates kidneys and sweetbreads, 6 cases livers and 3 coses gut strings. The Waiwera, which "h now at Gishorne, is to leave Wellington on Saturday next for London. The Union Company's steamer Maitai will leave Wellington to-day and Auckland next Saturday for San Francisco, .via Rarotonga end Papeete. The vessel is taking a good r.umber of passengers, but cargo is not oomirig forward in great quantities, space for a 6r.iail line of butter and some 3000 cratoa of onions only having been booked so far. The Vacuum Oil Co. Proprietary, Ltd., has chartered the steamer Hyndford to load case oil at New York for Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton and Dunedin. The vessel will bring about 150,000 cases of oil. Having shipped 600 bales of wool and 85 casks of pelts for* London, tho Scales Line steamer Clan Men-ties sailed last evening for Timaru. Thence she proceeds to Wellington and Picton, and after making a call at Westport for bunker coal, will go to Auckland* lo complete loading for London. She will ea.il finally from Auckland on the 20th mat., for London. The schooner Morning Light left Colling--Tood last Thursday marnin** with a cargo of timber for Lyttelton, and ia due here at any timo now. Tlio schooner Lily is making o long passage from Greymouth. She is thirteen days out to-day, and has probably been blocked in Cook Strait by the southerly ■winds which have been prevalent there. The Kaitangata" from Newcastle, via Tii-aru, io now expected to arrive here tomorrow to dischai-Re the balance of her cargo of coal. She will proceed hence to Greymouth and Kaipara to load timber for Melbourne. Shortage of railway trucks has caused further delay to vessels discharging at Lyttelton. F<*,r thia reason the deoarture of the Kaituna for Greymouth has been postponed until to-day. Tht> Kaiapoi will load Admiralty coal at \**c«tport for Hobart and Melbourne, in place of the Kaituna* The Fedcral-Houider-Shirc* steamer Kverton Grange, now at Picton, has «til! to call at Xanier. Bluff, and Timaru. before coming t<r Lyttelton to complete loading- for West of England ports. The «teamer is fo leave Lyttelton finally on the 20th inst., for Avon-tt-outh.
