There was an entry of 55 horses. Draughts met with no demand, harness horses sold at from £15 to £25 10s, 1 and hacks at from £5 to £10. There was a fairly good entry of pigs, and prices were slightly improved. Weaners and suckers brought from os to 7s _d; stores from 7s Gd to 17s. Poultry varied very much in quality, bringing, per pair:—Old hens, from Is 9d to 4s 3d; roosters, from 3s 3d» to Is 7d; pullets, up to 7s; ducks brought from 2s to os Gd. ;
