Messrs Weddel say that the quality of oats arriving from -Sew Zealand continues at ..resent unsatisfactory, and low prices are the result. Some sales on sample have been put through in parcels afloat at 18s 3d to 18s S)d per 3201bs c.i.f., while on spot the better qualities have been in more request, fiid values may be quoted at 18s to 20s for Cartons, 18s 9d for Sparrow-bills, 17s 6d to 20s for Duns, and 15s 5d to 16s 3d (nom.) for Danish per 3201 bs, ex store.
