SOLDIERS' TEETH.
The British Army Council has issued a circular memorandum, regarding supply °t artificial teeth to non-com-missioned officers with long service. In future non-commissioned officers who have completed twenty-one years' service, and who are entitled to take their discharge after three _non?_is' notice, are not to be supplied with artificial teeth at the public expense. W r ith regard to other cases, the general rule to be followed is that artificial teeth should only be supplied at the publio expense when it is considered to be in tho interests of the service to retain men whose service with the colours would otherwise be terminated on account of medical unfitness.
