* REVENUE AND TRAFFIC. ; The revenue account presented at . the meeting of the Christchurch Train- ■ way Board gave the figures for thc t twenty-eight days from November 7th 1 to December 4th, 1910, compared with b the corresponding period of the previ- [ cus year. The comparative figures | were as follows (those for the 190!) , period being given in parenthesis) :— Gross earnings from operation. £11,014 ; ls -Id (£10,342 Is lOd), operating ex- : penses £3695 U& 3d (£.5071 Is 10d), ; leaving nett earnings from operation ' £5318 7s Id (£5271). Various deduc- _ tions for interest and sinking fund, de- " preciaticn, fire and accident reserve j funds, loft a profit of £2133 2s '0d [ (£24170 .13 3 id).
