There is a small inquiry for Australian on spot at from 36s to 37s 6d. There is a better demand for New Zealand average quality at from 33s to 33s 3d and 33s 6d. Exceptional quality nas been quoted at 33s 9d and 34s 3d. Flour. —There ia a poor demand, and little business is being done. Australian ex store 25s 3d, on passago 23s 9d to 245, c.i.f. OATS. Oats. —The market is steady. Gartons 17s 6d to 20s 6d, Sparrowbills 17s to 19s 6d. La Plata February-March shipments 13s 3d. Australian barley is quoted nominally at'2Cs to 275. BUTTER AND CHEESE. Butter. —The market shows a greatly improved demand. Colonial arrivals have been well cleared. Danish is unchanged. Choicest Australian salted 102s, unsalted 102s to 104s, New Zealand salted 106s, unsalted 107s to 10<5s, Australian secondary quality 94s to 98s, New Zealand secondary quality 98s to 104s, Argentine choicest, quality 102s to 104s. The market closes firm and with an upward tendency. Cheese.—-The market is firm. New Zealand white 5Gs, coloured 57s to 58s. METALS. Tin, on spot £181, three months £i7U 15s. Lead, £13 3s Dd. Iron, £2 10s Id. WOOL.
