RIFLE SHOOTING.

CHRISTCHURCH RIFLE CLUB. The Christchurch Rifle Club's fourth spoon competition was fired at Cashmere on Thursday and Saturday, at 500, 900 and 1000 yards. Some excellent scores were made considering the long ranges. W. J. Henry came out on top with 97, made up with 32, 34 and 31, A. J. Hahn, with the aid of 10 points handicap, running him very close with 96. The Thursday men had a slight advantage in the weather experienced, tne Saturday men having to contend with a very changeable light. Thursday and Saturday competitors are distinguished by aTor S.
