THE HAWKE CUP TOURNAMENT.
The under-mentioned teams have entered for the Hawke Cu»> tournament: Xorth Taranaki, South Taranaki, airarapa, Manawatu, South Canterbury and Southland. The New Zealand Cricket Council made the following draw: — First round: Wairara,TO v Manawatu. Xorth Taranaki v South Taranaki, and South Canterbury v Southland. The winner of tho Wairarapa v ilaaawatu match -will piny thy winnrr of tho North Taranaki v South Taranaki match, and the winiTvr of second round will play thn s-lnn*?; - of tho South Canterbury v Southland match. Tho Council lpavos the as to the ground for each match to mutual agreement between tho Associations concerned. Failing such agreement, the Associations must draw r or the ground where the match shall take place. The matches in tho first round must bo played before January 4th. 1911.
