NOTES. The leading attractions of tho Feilding Jockey Club's Meeting, which starts to-day, are tho St. Andrew's Handicap and Fifth Feilding Stakes. In both races some of tho best horses in the Dominion aro engaged, while there is no lack of entries in the minor events. The Takapuna Jockey Chih*s Spring Meeting ■will be brought to a conclusion to-day, when the chief attractions -will be thc Spring Handicap, in which a number of well-performed horses claim engagement. Nominations for the Maniototo J.C. and Vincent J.C. Annual Meetings close this evening.

Most of- the Canterbury trained horses that competed at the Forbury Park Trotting Club's Meeting returned home on Monday.
