(MISS ASSOCIATION TB^jaHAM.) INVERCARGILI,, November 29. The Supreme Court opened before Mr Justice Williams this morning. \ll the accused pleaded guilty. Wm. Alexander and J as. Robertson, tor harbouring two escaped prisoners, were fined £v each, and ordered to pay costs. For breaking into a brewery, Charles McQuarrie ivas sentenced to six months' imprisonment. John Burko was admitted to probation, and Percy Hutcheons was ordered to enter into recognisances to come up for sentence when called upon. Jas. Louttit aged 54 years, for attempting to murder Edward Horrell, a neighixmriiMT farmer, by shooting, was sentenced to twelve years' imprisonment. Henry Faitliiull Winter, a letter carrier, for theft of a postal note, was sentenced to six months in gaol. Kenrv Greenaway, for making a false declaration under the Marriage Act, was fined £5. James Joseph Sitteen. for theft from a dwelling, iva3 sentenced to six months' imprisonment.
