H,. also touched on the great increase of production of. and demand for, butter in New Zealand, and the success of the Danes in dairy fanning and product ion of first-class butter. Mr Patterson's invitation for questions at the close of his locturo was mot by several questions being put by members and answered by Mr Patterson. The lecture wa.s we'll received by all present as being highly instructive and valuable. With a hearty vote of thanks to Mr Patterson for his lecture, the wish of the meeting for another visit to Waimato and lecture by him on a similar subject was unanimously expressed.
