College commenced a match against St. Albans. Scores:—St. Albans '_. • (O'Brien It, Jackman 100, Blank 2-', Spieer 73, tracey 12, Herman 26 not out). Jennings was the most successful bowler for College, who replied with Si for one wicket (Bowden 10, Louden ID not out, Jen inn ps 59 not out). Linwood met Boys' High School at Haglev Park, when the former, battin£ first, scored 298 (Hammond 94. Cooko 04. Bowman 50. Worrall 13. Grant 13 Russell 11, Wilson 10 not out). Hickuiott and W. Guiney were the most successful bowlers for the School, who replied with 31 for four wickets (Qtiiney i. 17 not out). For Linwood, Just got three wickete for In the game between Riccarton A and West Christchurch A, West Christchurch had first strike, aud scored 124 (McCoy ~~ Holland 36, Cox 15). Macfarlane three, Prcbble three, and Mackie two. captured the wickets. Riccarton replied with 186 for seven wickets (Prebble 46, W. B. Clarkson 60, Macfarlano 19, Norman 24 not out). Sydenham B, batting first against Riccarton B, compiled 130 (Jacobs 36 i>ot out, Bellamy 19, Ayling 16, Graham 16, Windsor 15, Fraser 13). Riccarton made 47 (Paxil! 12). Sydenham, in their second innings, had made 93 for seven wickets (Jacobs 22, Hudson 36 not out) Sydenham occupied the wickets tho wholo afternoon against East Chrktchurcli at Lancaster Park, and amassed the largo total of 395 (Hobbs 146, Forrester 110. Hutchiiigs 41, Fryer 24, Arnold 29). Costelloe and Neale took the wickete.
