NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
Tho fortieth anniversary celebrations of the Oxford Terrace Baptist Wunday school are being held to-morrow. The children will render specially attractive anniversary hymns, and the pastor of the church will occupy the pulpit at each service. A feature of the afternoon service will bo an offering of flowers for distribution amongst the sick and suffering. Mr Jas Ford will conduct. Miss Coleman will preside at the organ, and an efficient orchestra, under the leadership of Mr H. J. Stokes, will assist.
The entries for the Banks Peninsula Show, which will be held at Little River on the 22nd inst., close to-day.
The anniversary services of the Addington Methodist Church will be held tomorrow, when the Revs. C. H. Laws. 8.A., president of the Conference, and C. H. Garland will preach morning and evening respectively. In the afternoon a "'Pleasant Sunday Afternoon" service will be held. The aiinual conversazione takes place on Wednesday next.
