STRIKES IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA
ADELAIDE, November 10. Further trouble has arisen in connection with the railway contract. One hundred and forty men have struck for an increase in wages of sixpence per clay. Tho strike threatens to spread.
Tho strike at Good, Durrant and Co.'s, hnt makers, continues. The strikers are making a determined effort to forco matters, and are asking the Drivers' Union to decline to handle the firm's goods, and tho unionists generally to refrain from purchasing the firm's straw manufactures.
