(PKKSS ASSOCIATION TET.iTOtAM.) AUCKLAND, November 6. The Wanganui Garrison Band, which returned from Australia by the Maheno to-day, had a groat reception. As the steamer came alongside the wharf the Band played "Lead Kindly Light" and "Home, Sweet Home," and escorted hy three of tlie city br.nds, marched up Queen street. Thb afternoon tho Wanganui Band gave an open air performance ou tho Takapuna, Racecourse, an enormous crowd assembling to hear them. To-night they will give a concert in tho Opera House, and to-morrow a civic reception is to be accorded them.
