To-day's quotations are:—A grado Gartons ls fid, 0.t.e.5.; A grade sparrowbills ls Bjd, and B grade _d less. Gra-sr, seed. —There is a fair demand for good heavy seed from the mill, and up to 2; (kl o.t.c.s. is being paid. Chaff.—Good prime chaff is in good demand, but as farmers are busy with other work, there is very little on offer. Prime lines are worth from £3 7s Cd to :C3 10s o.t.c.s. Potatoes.—Thero is practically nothing doing in potatoes in .Southland at present, there being very few loft. Here and there a grower may have a few bags which he will sell locally, as much as £9 o.t.c.s. being paid for them.
