THE VETO CONFERENCE.
(Received November 7th, 12.25 a.m.) LONDON, November "5. The twentieth meeting of tho Veto Conference is being held to-day. The "Dublin Evening Herald" states that the Veto Conference has arranged a compromise respecting tho Lords, and that tho Conservative leaders have agreed to support the Government until a new scheme applicable to Ireland, has been submitted to Parliament or a fresh conference.
