BRITISH POST OFFICE. United Press Association—By Eleetrie Tel-irrapb— Copyright. (R-eceived November 3rd, 11 p.m.) LONDON, November 3. The Post Office report shows that during the year the Post Office staffs handled five thousand million packets, including three thousand million letters, and eight hundred and sixty-six million postcards. The report adds there is a tendency for the number of letters to decrease, owing to the growing use of the telephone.
