Reduction and !No-licouso polb cannot be taken till after 1920, but increasing polb operate from 1912. The Council has passed the Electoral Act Amendment Bill, making preferential voting compulsory. SYDNEY, October 29. Much adverse comment is being made regarding the State brickworks' proposal. Architects and builders consider the scheme impracticable.
