At 7 p.m. there was the usual procession through tho streets, when hymns were sung and addresses wero given at the various stations. At S o'clock, the vicar having said prayers, ho read the history of the Feast given by Simon the Pharasee, v> which our Lord was asked, giving a graphic description of the gathering. Most of the congregation stayed for tho vicar's instruction, which dealt with the doctrine of confession, declaring that it wjis a principle of Nature and the Bible.
