POSITION IN .SPAIN. United Press Assoeiaticn—By Electrio L'elegraph—Copyright. (Received October 21st, 11.5 p.m) LONDON, October 21. The special correspondent of "Tho Times" at -Madrid says that a Republican coup d'etat would only plunge' Spain in civil war. The Catholics are too strong to submit to the antileligious faction. The Republicans are not forcing a crisis, and are willing to gain time by supporting Senor Canak'jas, whoso position is a delicate one. The correspondent believes that King Alphonso's place on the throne will be in extreme jeopardy if he abandons Senor Cannlejas and returns to the Conservatives.
