The cquilibrator was a long ropo attached to tbo tank of gasoline, and floating on the water. Welhnan's hand was injured in catching ropes thrown from tho Trent. He plans a renewal of the flight in ML The balloon vanished when cut adrift, and it is believed to have sunk with the weight of machinery.
