SOUTH MALVERN.
A very successful concert and social was held in the Schoolroom on Friday, October 7th, in aid of the children's treat fund. The South Malvern Brass Band contributed several selections through the evening, and those who assisted with a concert programme included Mesdames Jewell and Nicol, Miss Barlow, and Messrs Brown, Felton, and J. Charles. The school children, who had been ably coached by the teacher (Miss Riordan), sang some songs very nicely, and also acted several lifEle nieces very prettily.
