An eight-roomed house v. Little Brencbley road. Lyttelton. owned and occupied by Capt. John Scoullar, was totally destroyed by fire last night. Tlio house teas insured for £'300 in thcNational Office. «md the furniture for £150 in the same office. Tho value of the house and furniture is estimated at £700. The house was built 16 years ago by Lady Barker, who resided'in it for some tune.
