S.M., who has been appointed by the Government a Commission to enquire into certain allegations regarding the Sydenham Working .Men's Club, that ho will hoar evident c at the Magistrate's Court, Christchurch, on Saturday morning next, at 10.30 o'clock The charges against the club are:— 1. Excessive use of the locker system. 2. Playing cards for drinks. 3. Allowing drunkenness on the premises. 4. Selling liquor across tho bar on Sundays.
