STRIKE IN A CANISTER FACTORY.
(Rc-circd August 24th, 8.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, August 24. Giving to thf. dismissal of a youth, fifty others employed at Leigh's canister factory left work, and negotiations f.-.r their roturn failed. Mr Leigh states that the dismissal was necessary in the interact of discipline, and be has no intention of reinstating any of the strikers. 'The police are guarding the factory.
