THE LONDON MURDER.
PARIS, July 20. A man resembling Cripnen was seen on Sunday at Vernet-les-Bains, but when the gendarmes arrived he had already fled into Spain. The man seen at Vernct-lcs-Bains in every -way resembled Crippen. Ho described himself as Henri Talbot, landowner, of Narbonne, but enquiry at Narbonno showed that he was unknown there. He drove from Mont Louis to Puycerda, on the Spanish side of the Pyrenees, twelve miles, in a carriage. (Received July 22nd, 12.30 a.m.) CONSTANTINOPLE, July 21. Fritz Linger, a Gorman export, who appeaa-ed as a witness in a native lawsuit at Haefa, Syria, was shot dead by the adherents of the defeated litigant in the presence of the German Consul and a Turkish magistrate.
