REPORTED CURE FOR CANCER.
At a meeting held on Tuesday, last,V the South Canterbury Hospital Board*, received a letter from Dr. H. V. Drove, v of Timaru, who wrote drawing attcn- * tion to an article in "Life" on cancer,'.] stating that he had years ago advocuted* the treatment therein 'described, and-' asking the board to provide facilities at? the Timaru Hospital, to enable them "to -\ test this serum treatment. Dr. Drew ' said ho had written to Dr. Mason eight," years ago for permission to experiment \ on animals, hut he- could not obtam \ this permission.
