At a meeting of. the Otago Rugby Union to-night, an enauiry was held into a report by the,referee that Mitchell (Alhambra) had struck a University player in the match between theso teams on Saturday week. ■■ Mitchell admitted striking Danse3*, of the University team, and Danscy admitted .striking Mitchell. Both were suspended until the end of tho first round, to complete which six matches have still to bo played. Mitchell is a member of tho New Zealand team to tour Australia. •
