A message from the united chiefs of the Maori tribes sent to Queen Alexandra has been published.
The many messages of condolence received from Australia included
those from the Christian Science Churches. Lutheran Synod, Baptist Union of New South Wales, Women's Christian Temperance Union, Australasian Women's Association, Society of Friends, National Defence Association. Imperial Federation League. \ ietoria Employers' Federation, Oddfellows', Foresters', and Reehr.bite Lodges, and Shire Councils.
