Mr Justice Denniston did not stayin London. Accompanied by Mrs and Miss Denniston, ho left almcst immediately for Scotland on a visit to relative, and when last heard from he was staving at Morningside, Edinburgh. Mi.-s May Beatty and -Mr Edward Latui are acting together in sketches at the llo'born Empire ('•The Lady Randits" and "Jn Her Boudoir'"). Both are engaged to appear in pantomime up to 1014. hut they Icok forward to the possibility of a tour in Australia at no very distant date.
Dr. and Mrs McArthur, who arrived ir. London on Friday evening, are cnxn(ortably installed at , the Thackeray Hotel, where th-r-y -will remain until after Easter, when they will probably go down to Woybridge. Dr. MoArthor Jooks considerably better for his voyage.
Mr Robert MoNnb lias booked his pass'-g-* to return to New Zealand by lhe Ruahine, which leaves on April 11th.

Of general New Zealand interest will be the announcement of the betrothal of Mr Cyril Towsey, the wellknown pianist from tho Dominion, and Miss Mary Cooper, of Auckland, who hat; been living in this country for fceveral years past, completing her vocal studies. Both have been away from New Zealand for considerably over three jears, and both havo made arrangements for an carlv return. A recent arrival from the Dominion is Mr J. C. Martin, who has taken up his quarter- for the present at the Russell Hotel.
