WEATHER SUMMARY AND FORECAST.
U'ho Rev D C. Bates's weather summary and forecast are as follow.-The barometer has fallen in the northernmost districts and a strong easterly wind with a fall of tlirectenths of an inch since 9 a.m. is reported at Russell. The skies have been overcast north of Auckland. Fine weather has prevailed elsewhere, with light and variable winds. Present indications are for a talliiiK barometer everywhere, ana for a change in the weather, first in the extreme north with rising easterly winds, and then in tno southern districts with freshening northerlies; fair weather, but increasing clouds^ and haze, elsewhere.
